Charlotte Gerson recently celebrated her 90 years of good health
Charlotte Gerson is the amazing woman who started The Gerson Institute which she founded in 1977. The Gerson Institute is a non-profit organization based in San Diego, CA
The Gerson Institute educates the public on the Gerson Therapy. Among the wide range of activities, they license private clinics so that they in turn can practice the Gerson Therapy and offer treatment to patients.
The Gerson Therapy is a natural treatment that activates the body’s own ability to heal itself through an organic, vegetarian diet, raw juices, coffee enemas and natural supplements.
What a great idea to heal the body through food!

Ms Gerson is continuing the work of her father Dr. Max Gerson who originally developed the Gerson Therapy in the 1930s, initially as a treatment for his own debilitating migraines, and eventually as a treatment for degenerative diseases such as skin tuberculosis, diabetes and, most famously, cancer.
The Gerson Therapy has a tremendous success rate, so much so that one wonders why it is not given more focus in the media and in the Doctor’s office? I know that Ms Gerson is a very busy lady, devoting her time to helping others. I thank her for taking the time to answer these questions.
TSP: What do you love most about your life?
CG: Being able to help people and seeing them returned to happy, healthy living.
TSP: If you could go back in time to when you were 20 years old and give yourself some advice – what would it be?
CG: Learn about much, choose what you like best, excel in it!
TSP: What do you feel is the greatest lack in the world?
CG: Understanding the wonderful organization of the human body, and how to take care of it.
TSP: What is your definition of a spiritual person?
CG: To see the spirit of nature’s creation in everything starting with a blade of grass.
TSP: Do you have a life philosophy that you follow?
CG: Study nature: its eternal laws will keep you well and active.
TSP: What in your opinion, is the most important thing that parents can give their children to prepare them for life?
CG: The best education possible and the healthiest body obtained with the right nutrition.
