Malene Lykke – Cougar and so much more.
Malene Lykke loves life! She loves people, fashion, styling, events, parties, work, fund raising and men – especially the young ones! She is the ultimate 40 something party girl with a good head and a good heart. She was recently featured in a Danish documentary about the Cougar lifestyle. You might also see her in various Danish music videos or as an extra on a film set. She loves the camera and the camera loves her. She spreads her own special brand of joy and laughter making no excuses for loving all the attention – she has claimed her life and lives it her way. I love that!
TSP: What do you love most about your life?
ML: I’m a real fan of life. I love living! I put a lot of energy into telling others to do so as well. Keeping it simple and positive. Its a great joy to get up every morning by starting my day telling myself: THIS is going to be a GREAT day 
Life’s a gift and I love every little moment of it.
TSP: If you could go back in time to when you were 20 years old and give yourself some advice – what would it be?
ML: If I could go back in time…Oh my…!! I’m constantly telling myself that I don’t have any regrets … But dont we all? I would change the fact that I have always been poor at saying NO – and that has brought me a lot of pain and misery over the years! But then again: It has made me the person I am today, and I love ME now! All the heartache has probably made me a more helpful, caring and understanding person, and I dont know if I would have been a different person without it … BE YOUR SELF – is the most important thing in life I think!!! I should have listened to myself – instead of listening too much to others.
TSP: What do you feel is the greatest lack in the world?
ML: The greatest lack in the world today is to be giving, loving and understanding. This world is hungry for love! Without it … Omg, I wont even try to think about it … We’re almost there already! It’s become a very selfish world. I miss “common caring”!
TSP: What is your definition of a spiritual person?
ML: A spiritual person is by my definition a caring person, a down to earth person, a person who can manage and overcome obstacles without even feeling tired in anyway! Someone who has a lot of energy and who understands how to pass that on! (Most spiritual people I know are also very creative. So I’m wondering if there might be a connection in some way)
TSP: Do you have a life philosophy that you follow?
ML: My life philosophy is quite simple I think! I say “thank you” every night before going to sleep …Thanking for every good thing or people in my life! (Others would maybe complain about negative stuff) But I believe in “what we give – we get”! Negative thoughts = negative things! Positive thoughts = positive things/happenings/persons etc….!
Every morning when i get up, I start my day by looking in the mirror saying “hi…Its going to be a GREAT day today.” I also live to learn, and to be a big part of life … So therefore I’m always searching for new adventures! I believe that if you’re happy – you´ll survive ANYTHING.
TSP: What in your opinion, is the most important thing that parents can give their children to prepare them for life?
ML: No one is ever prepared fully for life. I have a daughter and shes nearly 23 years old now. She is always telling me that I did a good job raising her! That makes me proud as a parent. I have always made sure that she knew, that she could come talk to me about anything she wondered about, or was upset about etc. She always did. And it worked out great because she has grown to be a beautiful and very wise young lady, still trusting in me for any kind of help she might need in her life. Children need to experience their own life, but they need to know that you´re there to help or talk when needed! I mean REALLY there, turn off the tv and the mobile and listen! BE a parent – DONT leave it completely upto the school or daycare etc. It is your job and it pays back so well
