She crossed over to the other realm …
Anita Moorjani’s story of her journey from advanced cancer to near death to healing has been captured in her interesting book ‘Dying to be me’.
She has a fascinating story to share. Anita experienced a cross over to, what she calls ‘the other realm’ where she felt great peace and clarity about the meaning of life while her physical body lay in a coma.
Anita had had a near death experience (NDE)
She then returned to her sick body that healed within weeks. Anita’s life changed forever. She had crossed over and came back to share what she had learned: Remember your magnificence! Live fearlessly! Love and honor yourself!
Thank you Anita for taking the time to answer these questions.
TSP: What is the best part of your day?
AM: The early evening, when the sun begins to set. I love watching the sun set over the ocean. And I enjoy having my evening meal outdoors, with my husband Danny.
TSP: What is the greatest lesson in life we can learn?
AM: That it is really important to love and honor ourselves. We have been taught that it is selfish to love ourselves, or to put ourselves first, so whenever we do honor ourselves, we feel guilty. Or we have to find an excuse to be able to give ourselves permission to treat ourselves well. But in truth, if we do not treat ourselves well, and always put ourselves last, we become drained and needy. We cannot be loving towards others unless we love ourselves. We cannot give what we ourselves do not have.
TSP: What is the greatest gift we can give each other?
AM: Our authenticity. The greatest gift we can each give each other and the entire planet is to be who we are. If we constantly suppress our authenticity, trying to be someone else, we will be depriving the planet of who we came here to be!
TSP: What does being spiritual mean to you?
AM: To me, being spiritual means being myself. We are all spiritual, whether we realize it or not. We cannot NOT be spiritual. But most of us believe that we have to work hard at being spiritual, but to me, being your authentic self and being spiritual are one and the same thing.
TSP: What is the most important thing we can teach our children?
AM: That they are beautiful and perfect just the way they are. They don’t have to work hard at being someone/something they are not in order to be loved. They need to know that they are loved unconditionally, and they are a unique child of the universe. The children of our planet need to learn that we don’t need to be competitive. They need to embrace their uniqueness instead. Doing this will automatically allow them to accept the differences in others, and they will embrace and appreciate the uniqueness in everyone else. And they should always follow what brings them joy and not take life too seriously.

I finished the book a few days ago and am now rereading in sections. It resonates while striking chords that feel very familiar and completely comfortable.
Very cool that she did the interview with you!
I got that same comfortable feeling too from reading the book and also from watching a couple of youtube interviews with her. ‘Comfortable’ is the key word here I think. I am trying to get her to post the interview on her facebook page as I want as many people to read it as possible.
I think it was a great little interview!
