Singer-songwriter, bass player, and actress.
We have all heard of her. She always seemed to be clad in leather pants, up there with the boys, holding her own with her bass guitar. A tough image and a sensitive soul.
With both work and dedication Suzi Quatro has built a solid career for herself. She has touched the music industry with oh so many hit songs and also has an impressive acting career too.
Suzi Q is a busy lady! She performs her hits and new material for her loyal fans all over the world. Her tour plan this year has places like Ukraine, Brazil, Uk and Germany on it. I am thrilled that she found the time to answer my questions:
TSP: If you could go back in time to when you were 20 years old and give yourself some advice – what would it be?
SQ: Don’t be in such a hurry! You’ll be old soon enough. Enjoy each age and each experience as it comes… and remember, everybody gets their heart broken at least one time in life. Absolutely essential.
TSP: What do you feel is the greatest lack in the world?
SQ: True comunication! It is why you see all these reality shows. People screaming and talking ‘at’ eachother and not ‘to’ eachother.
TSP: What is your definition of a spiritual person?
SQ: Open mind, open heart, open arms.
TSP: Do you have a life philosophy that you follow?
SQ: Yes! Do not do to anyone else, what I don’t want done to me. Always try to be honest, and don’t judge unless you have walked in somebodies shoes. I never give advice about something I have not gone through myself.
TSP: What in your opinion, is the most important thing that parents can give their children to prepare them for life?
SQ: A good Christian grounding. Right from wrong. Plenty of love…so they know deep inside that they can always come back home.
